What are some interesting things to know about Aimee?

I was born and raised in Dallas, TX. It took me about 5 years to finally figure out what career path I wanted to take, I did event makeup all through out high school always for fun never did i consider it as a career path in cosmetology until my older sister point it out. After much thought i saved my money and decided to put myself through school while working a full time job.

Why did you choose Bigger Better Hair as your salon home?

I decided on Bigger Better Hair as my home salon because when i came in everyone was very welcoming and hands on, also they specialize in extensions and have their own hair line

What sets you apart as a Dallas Hair Stylist?

Some things that set me apart from other Dallas Hair Stylist is that I’m always willing to learn and dont like to limit my skills i would like to offer other services besides doing hair.

What are some of your favorite services to perform?

Some of my favorite service’s to perform are blowouts, styling and vivids

Who are some of your beauty inspirations that you’re inspired by and follow?

One of my beauty inspirations is Abbey Brookee she specializes in Copper and Red hair tones

What are some of your favorite places in Dallas to go to?

When im not at work i enjoy trying new activies and resturants, recently i started to learn how to play pool but my go to resturant will always be Buffalo Wild Wings

What beauty products are must-haves if you were stranded on an island?

My must have products if i were stranded on an island would be vitamino leave in, pureology soft finishing spray and dry bar 3-1 finishing spray

What are some interesting things to know about you?

I was born and raised in California ; East Bay area .After the passing of my grandfather I felt I needed to start over somewhere new . I have been in northern DFW for two years now in a small town of 4000 people that has grown dear to my heart . I graduated with my occupational associates in graphic design a year after arriving and instead of taking a new career path I fell back in love with being behind the chair thanks to Bigger Better Hair .

When I am not working I am watching my beautiful, talented daughter on the softball field, or finding a new spot for my sweet son’s love of sugary confections .

I have a love for travel, food , reading and creative writing. When I have a moment of free time you’ll usually find me with a good novel in hand a cocktail and Zach Bryan in the background.

Why did you choose Bigger Better Hair as your salon home?

Everything about Bigger Better Hair caught my attention. I was still living in California when I was researching salons in Dallas. From the online presence, reviews, to their unique services they have to offer, Bigger Better Hair captivated my attention. I felt confident that this was the right place for me and my expertise.

What sets you apart as a Dallas Hair Stylist?

Being in the beauty industry for 20 years, I have spent 6 of those years as an educator, I thoroughly enjoy growing young artists into amazing ones. Mentoring comes naturally to me and I am always so proud of the people who have worked beside me to flourish on their own. My career has taken me all across the United States. From New York, Arizona, and Oregon, to California, I have experienced and received education from platform artists from all over the world.

What are some of your favorite services to perform?

I enjoy color correcting , blonding services on naturally dark hair and extension/hair replacement services.

I love a big change for people especially when they have been struggling to find a stylist with the confidence to do so .

Who are some of your beauty inspirations that you’re inspired by and follow?

Patrice Wyatt follows Redken artists such as Sam Villa and Adrienne Dara. Nick arrojo and Michael Gordon have always been alluring to me too. Mostly I pull inspiration from people I find most relatable to me. Something I use to help me find inspiration are the #hashtags used in beauty blogger’s posts.

What are some of your favorite places in Dallas to go to?

I love Mami coco and Chilangos Taqueria, it’s the closest to “home” mexican food I have found so far in DFW , but I am always up for suggestions. I have absolutely fallen in love with the lavender old fashioned from Chetz . My favorite thing to do outside of the city is drive to first Monday , Canton Flea Market. I could spend hours in there exploring.

What beauty products are must-haves if you were stranded on an island?

The entire L’Oréal Professional Metal Detox Collection, L’Oreal Professional Liss Unlimited Serum, and the REDKEN Brushable Hairspray !

Kamryn Butler | Dallas Hair Stylist @Biggerbetterhair

Kamryn Butler is one of our newest Dallas Hair Stylists at Bigger Better Hair, and we are so excited to introduce you to her. Kamryn has had the opportunity to work with the salon since June of 2019, perfecting her techniques and learning from our top stylists. After a lengthy apprenticeship, Kamryn has shown a passion for the beauty industry and a skill set we are proud to have on our team.

Below, Kamryn answers some questions to give you a bit of insight into who she is as a person and as a hairstylist.

What are some interesting things to know about you, Kamryn?

I was born and raised in Arlington, TX, it is about 30 minutes from Dallas. In June 2019 I got married and we bought a house in Burleson, TX so I drive about 45 minutes to the salon. On my off days I enjoy spending time with my animals and going on walks, I have also really enjoyed cooking.

Why did you choose Bigger Better Hair as your salon home?

Whenever I started hair school I never knew where I wanted to start my career once I was done, but I was offered a front desk position at BBH before I graduated so while doing that, I learned so many things and then was offered an apprentice position that I could not pass up.

What sets you apart as a Dallas hair stylist?

I feel that I am very caring and always strive to do my best.

What are some of your favorite services to do for clients?

I enjoy blonding, hair extensions, and treatments.

What are some of your favorites places in Dallas to go to on your off days?

Every now and then I will visit the Dallas Arboretum and Dallas zoo. My husband and I also love going to try new places for dinner, one of our favorite places is Nick & Sam’s Steakhouse.

Living Proof Dry Shampoo, Olaplex # 6&7, Arrojo Wave Mist.

Sidney Anderson | Dallas Hair Stylist @Biggerbetterhair

Sidney Anderson is one of our beloved Dallas Hair Stylists at Bigger Better Hair, and we are so proud to have her in the BBH family. Sidney has had the opportunity to work with the salon since January of 2020, perfecting her techniques and learning from our top stylists. What are some interesting things to know about you, Sidney?

I am from the small town of Maypearl Texas, it’s about 45 minutes south of Dallas, honestly you’ve probably never heard of it because the population is around 1,000 people. On my off days I love spending time with my family and my dogs.

I have been interested in doing hair for my whole life. I used to go to the beauty shop with my great grandmother every Friday to get her hair done and I always wanted to be the one doing hair. I love the art of it and I love making people more comfortable with their appearance.

Why did you choose Bigger Better Hair as your salon home?

I was offered an apprentice position here, and honestly it was scary coming to such a big city so far and different from home. I soon realized Bigger Better Hair has some of the most talented, down to earth stylist in Dallas. It’s a great working environment, we are like a big family here, so of course when I was offered a stylist position I couldn’t pass that up!

What sets you apart as a Dallas hair stylist?

I pay close attention to detail and I will always work hard to create exactly what my client is looking for.

What are some of your favorite services to do for clients?

I absolutely love doing all services, specifically blondes and fashion colors, I love to transform my clients look to something new and fresh.

What are some of your favorites places in Dallas to go to on your off days?

As I said, I’m not from Dallas and I don’t live here so I am not really familiar with many places, however I will occasionally drive all the way to Dallas just to get cookies from Tiff’s Treats!

What beauty products are your “must haves” if you are stranded on an island?

Definitely, Tecni Art Morning After Dust my hair gets super greasy, super fast. I literally cannot live without dry shampoo!

Bigger Better Hair is pleased to welcome Danliela Alcantar to our salon family as one of our Associate Stylists. Since being licensed in 2020, Daniela has come into the salon with nothing but BIG dreams and we love to see it! With the coaching from our very own senior stylists, Daniela is consistently learning new techniques; fine tuning her skills for destined success.

What are some interesting things to know about you, Daniela?

I was born and raised in San Luis Potosí Mexico🇲🇽 until I moved to Dallas in 2015 and have loved every day since. In my free time I enjoy watching scary movies snuggled up with my chihuahua, Niki 🐶when I’m not spending time with my younger brother who is 5 , whom I adore like my own.💓

Ryan Bushman is one of our senior Dallas Hair Stylist at Bigger Better Hair and we are so proud to have him not only in the chair, but as an educator as well! Ryan has evolved into one of our Master Hair Extension & Color Specialists who is continuously growing into one of the best in the industry.

Below, Ryan answers some questions to give you a bit of insight as to who he is as a person, and a hairstylist.

What are some interesting things to know about you, Ryan?

I am originally from a small town on the coast of New Hampshire. I’ve been a model, hair stylist and makeup artist for 8 years. Besides loving fashion and everything beauty, I like to make people laugh and feel good, as much as I like to make them look good!

Why did you choose Bigger Better Hair as your salon home?

Honestly it was the feeling I got when I walked through the front door. Since I was in cosmetology school I’ve always dreamed of working in a busy downtown salon, constantly busy doing beautiful hair.

The fact that the phones are constantly ringing, blow dryers to the left and right, music pumping in the back ground sold me: I am supposed to be here.

Besides that feeling, the fact that every one at Bigger Better Hair strives for perfection and to be the best in Dallas was the cherry on top!

What sets you apart as a Dallas Hair Stylist?

I believe my versatility and passion for perfection is unmatched. You literally can get your whole life together in one visit with me. I can lay your hair down, beat your mug for the ‘gawds and make you feel like a million bucks!

What are some of your favorite services to do for clients?

I believe a woman can take on the world with a bomb blowout and I pride myself on my blow out and style out’s. Give me a round brush and 45 minutes, and I’ll give you Victoria Secret hair!

I have extensive training in all hair types: from thick and curly to fine and straight. I believe a woman can take on the world with a bomb blowout.

Who are some of your beauty inspirations that you are inspired by and follow?

Depending on the day, my taste can vary from A to Z! Currently I love Graham Nation from his editorial work to celebrity red carpet hair styles. I am inspired by Jacob Khan his cuts and techniques are goals!!! Last my makeup queens: @lipsticknick @namvo @patmcgrathreal I love the artistry of these ladies!!

What are some of your favorite places to spend off time in Dallas?

First the gym. Its my get away! My time to recharge and get my mindset right before or after work. Second would have to be any restaurant with bomb food, I LOVE TO EAT!!! Pare that with a good happy hour and your boy is set!!

What beauty products are your “must haves” if you are stranded on an island?

Well your boy is bald. So hair product and tools are out of the question. But I love my skin! So must haves would be Cleanser moisturizer and good SPF!!

Ana Gutierrez is a Dallas Hair Stylist who has been with Bigger Better Hair for over a year working with our senior stylists to fine tune her skills.

She is an incredibly passionate hair stylist who is very detail oriented and is dedicated to deliver better than expected results for every guest she has the opportunity to work with.

You can expect her to thoroughly consult with you prior to every appointment because she is passionate about hearing your hair goals so she can approach each visit with a fresh approach.

What are some interesting things to know about you, Ana?

I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas so this is my home! I am the oldest of 3 siblings. I am a dancer at heart, I love math and I love going to museums and parks.

Why did you choose Bigger Better Hair as your salon home?

I chose this salon as my home because the stylists here are very friendly. They are all so welcoming, and if you ever need help, everyone on the team is willing to assist!

What sets you apart as a Dallas hair stylist?

I make it a point to always hear each guest’s goals and needs, then do my best to suggest what’s best for their hair. I will always do my best to create a customized game plan to make your goals a reality and to do my best every single time you sit in my chair.

What are some of your favorite services to do for clients?

Hair Care all day everyday! I like to make sure my clients hair looks and feels as healthy as possible with one of the 8 customizable treatments we offer. I love haircuts, trending hair color, blondes, and am fine tuning my expertise with hair extensions. I love to finish out guests and hair styling because we all know a good blowout can really turn your day right side up!

I was given the opportunity to be apart of this incredible apprentice program right out of cosmetology school. I loved the vibe of the salon and how unique each stylist is.
