Ryan Bushman is one of our senior Dallas Hair Stylist at Bigger Better Hair and we are so proud to have him not only in the chair, but as a hair color & hair extensions educator for other salon professionals for our hair extensions brand, Bigger Better Hair Professional .
Ryan has evolved into one of our Senior Hair Extension & Color Specialists who is continuously growing into one of the best in the industry. During your visits to the salon you will also see him working with our up and coming associate stylists helping them grow and perfect their skills.
Below, Ryan answers some questions to give you a bit of insight as to who he is as a person, and a hairstylist.
What are some interesting things to know about you, Ryan?
I am originally from a small town on the coast of New Hampshire. I’ve been a stylist since 2012. I’ve also had the opportunity of modeling and being makeup artist since moving to Dallas. I love to make people laugh and feel good, as much as I like to make them look good!
Why did you choose Bigger Better Hair as your salon home?
Honestly it was the feeling I got when I walked through the front door. Since I was in cosmetology school I’ve always dreamed of working in a busy downtown salon, consistently busy doing beautiful hair.
The fact that the phones are constantly ringing, blow dryers to the left and right, music pumping in the back ground sold me: I am supposed to be here.
Besides that feeling, the fact that everyone at Bigger Better Hair strives for perfection and to be the best in Dallas.
What sets you apart as a Dallas Hair Stylist?
I believe my versatility and passion for hair is unmatched. I commit to always continue my education so I can stay up to date on the latest trends.
I have a passion for growing and will always want to learn and grow so I can be a better hair stylist for my guests.
What are some of your favorite services to do for clients?
Aside from hair extensions transformations, my number one thing about hair that I absolutely love is color! Anything and everything color!
This passion has taken me to further my speciality with L’Oréal professional. I am a certified Color Ambassador for the brand, and soon to be Color Specialist. This is the top certification you can have with L’Oréal Professionals, and only a few stylists nationwide have this qualification.
Who are some of your beauty inspirations that you are inspired by and follow?

What are some of your favorite places to spend off time in Dallas?
First the gym. Its my get away! My time to recharge and get my mindset right before or after work. My husband and I love taking our dogs to Ruff and white rock lake! They’re big and we all need as much outdoor time as we can get! We both also are foodies, so always trying new restaurants, and If you know Dallas there always popping up.
What beauty products are your “must haves” if you are stranded on an island?
Well your boy is bald. So hair product and tools are out of the question. But I love my skin! So must haves would be Cleanser moisturizer and good SPF!!
