What is it?
Olaplex is a brand who shook the hair color industry with its ground breaking solution that protects and strengthens hair like never before. Instead of traditional repair products that masque the damage, Olaplex uses a three-step process that includes a global patented formula to actually repair broken bonds in the hair. Olaplex repairs damage from chemical, thermal and mechanical stress.
Your stylist can add Olaplex to your hair color formula to actually repair your hair during a potentially risky process. You can also use Olaplex haircare at home which includes the same active ingredients to help maintain the results in between salon visits.
Who should use it?
People who color their hair often or people who have fine fragile hair would be the best fit for adding Olaplex to every hair color. On curly or textured hair It would help repair, smooth and protect your hair from future damage.
When is it used?
While at the salon, The olaplex No. 1 Bond Multiplier is mixed with lightner, color or chemical services like a Brazilian Blowout, or Arrojo American Wave.
After shampooing chemicals from your hair, your stylist will use the No. 2 Bond Perfector and let it sit for 5-15 minutes.
Lastly the No 3. Is a home treatment you can use once weekly which maintains the results and reduces breakage by continuously strengthening your hair.
What and how can you take care of your hair at home to ensure maximum protection from breakage?
The olaplex No. 3 is a home treatment that is applied to from roots to ends on shampoo’d and towel dried hair. After this you will comb through the hair once and leave for 10 minutes. It will strengthen and protect the hair structure and will restore the appearance of healthy-looking hair.
Shampoo & Conditioner No. 4 & No. 5
The Olaplex maintenance shampoo and conditioner will help reduce frizz, breakage by re linking broken bonds. It is a highly moisturizing shampoo and conditioner that will leave your hair soft and shiny while also being color safe.
Bond Smoother: No. 6
This concentrated leave-in smoothing cream is excellent for all hair types including colored and chemically treated hair. The olaplex No. 6 strengthens, hydrates and speeds up the blow dry times while smoothing the hair. It can also eliminate fly a ways and frizz for up to 3 days.
Bonding Oil: No.7
This oil would help with people who struggle with frizz or dry ends. It quickly increases shine, softness, and color vibrancy. As well as minimizing frizz It is applied on damp or dry hair.
