She comes to our team eager to learn from our senior stylists while she grows her clientele behind the chair.  She is a very focused stylist and works hard to deliver consistent results every time you sit in her chair.

Below we asked Katelynn a few questions for you to get a glimpse into who she is and what she offers.  

What are some interesting things to know about you, Katelynn?

I recently moved to the DFW area from a small town in East Texas, and I’m so excited to begin this new chapter while pursuing more opportunities and furthering my education.

I have been passionate about hair for as long as I can remember, and becoming a stylist has been a dream of mine for nearly my entire life.

I am a compassionate, hardworking stylist who truly loves helping my clients bring their ideas to life.

Whether you’re looking for a bold, creative color or a soft, lived-in look, I’m always excited to create something that makes you feel confident and uniquely you.

Outside of the salon, I’m a huge animal lover! I’m a proud pet mom to two dogs and two cats, who I absolutely adore.

I am so grateful to be building my career in the DFW area and can’t wait to meet you, create beautiful hair, and make your vision a reality!

 

Why did you choose Bigger Better Hair as your salon home?

When I was searching for a salon, I wasn’t just looking for a place to work—I was looking for a space where I could continuously learn, grow, and develop as a stylist.

Bigger Better Hair stood out to me because of its commitment to ongoing education and the incredible team of professional stylists who are always willing to share their knowledge, offer advice, and support one another.

Beyond the education and growth opportunities, Bigger Better Hair has such a welcoming and uplifting atmosphere. It’s a space where everyone can feel comfortable being themselves—no judgment, no drama, just good energy, support, and love. I’m truly grateful to be a part of this amazing team and excited to continue growing both personally and professionally as a stylist at Bigger Better Hair.

What sets you apart as a Dallas hair stylist?

I don’t view your appointment as just a service, I view it as an experience.  Everyone who sits in my chair deserves a unique experience that is personalized to them and their hair.

Every head of hair has its own story, and I believe it deserves a stylist who genuinely cares, listens, and takes the time to understand your needs.  My goal is to create a safe, comfortable space where you can truly be yourself.

Whether you are having a tough day and don’t feel like talking, or you want to chat throughout your entire appointment, I will meet you where you are.  When you are in my chair, you can feel confident knowing that you’re not just another appointment, you’re an individual, and your experience matters to me.

 

What beauty products are your “must haves” if you were stranded on a desert island?

I would definitely need my Oribe dry shampoo to keep my hair feeling fresh and looking its best for as long as possible. I’d also bring my CeraVe face wash to keep my skin clean and refreshed. Last but not least, I’d never go without SPF 50 because I burn super easily!

What are some of your favorites places in Dallas to go to on your off days?

I’m not from Dallas, so I’m still experimenting and trying new things! Although, I enjoy going to Fruit Bowl with my friends and/or my boyfriend when I can! Luckily it’s right down the block from the salon.

What are some of your favorite services to do for clients?

I’m always down to try something new, but I’ve always loved creating vivid colours and bold highlights! I’m all about a hardcore look, fun ideas, and bringing your vision to life. I’m also excited to expand my knowledge into extensions and so much more very soon.
