Salon Message Regarding COVID-19

Our Commitment

We have always held ourselves to high standards with respect to the trust our guests give us with such personal services. Now more than ever we want to update you with our sanitation practices and protocols we will practice to ensure a safe and healthy salon. We want to assure you that the health of our customers and our employees is our highest priority.

Due to the personal & scheduled nature of our business, we are fortunate to know who is coming into our business and when. We trust that you will be understanding should your service provider need to reschedule in the event health concerns become an issue.  Should this be the case, our support staff will reach out to you as soon as possible to re-schedule you with another stylist or to find another date for your service.

Please see our strict guidelines while operating in accordance with the rules set forth by the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation

  1. Our salon stations are 6 feet apart, meeting the expectations set forth by the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation.
  2. All guests and staff must wear a face mask at all times for services to be performed. We will refuse your entry without a face mask. Please also keep in mind that your face mask will need to go around your ears. Any face mask that goes around your entire head will not allow your stylist to perform the service.
  3. We are allowed to operate with 1 stylist and 1 client at a time aside from support staff. This means: under no circumstance will a guest be allowed to accompany you during your hair appointment.
  4. Please wait for a text before entering the salon. When you arrive for your appointment, please wait in your car until our support staff texts you that your stylist is ready.
  5. We have a zero tolerance right to refuse service during the COVID-19 pandemic. If you have any symptoms of illness, or have recently been exposed to someone who has we ask that you notify us ASAP and do not come to the salon. The health of our staff and guests is our #1 priority. Should you arrive and exhibit symptoms, we will respectfully ask you to leave.
  6. Contactless payment is preferred.  We accept Venmo, Cash App, Paypal, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay.  
  7. All guests must enter through our front door, no back door entry.

Preventative Measures We are Taking

We are taking measures to ensure that all are safe at Bigger Better Hair, and that the client experience continues to be a positive one.  We commit to adding extra time to each service to properly sanitize and disinfect our salon multiple times throughout the day, using Barbicide, a hospital-grade, broad spectrum germicide, virucide, and dinsinfectant, as well as CDC-recommended disinfectant wipes.

In addition to cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, we commit to disinfect all tools and laundry after every use. These are precautions we took before the Corona virus, and we will continue them after the threat of infection has subsided.

Our salon is equipt with HEPA and Ultraviolet Light filtration, both of which work to prevent the spread COVID-19 particles. Our current capacity of filters purify and sanitize the air in our business 8 times every hour.

Scheduling & Cancellations

First and foremost: should you or a close family member be ill, please notify us ASAP and do not come to the salon.  Any cancellation will be respected without enforcement of any sort of cancellation fee being charged.
