Let me know if you have any other ideas, I’d love to see them! If you’re looking for a stylist in Dallas, I would love the opportunity to make your hair Bigger or Better! 😉 Here are the top 4 Fall 2017 Hair Trends I am seeing as top contenders:
My favorite thing about messy side braids is that they are the perfect low maintenace style for fall! With the holidays come parties and events, and braids are an easy way to glam your look, and they can be super easy to do yourself! Wear the braid down, or use the braid to do an easy up style by just pinning the braid up in a bun depending on the look you’re going for.
To achieve this look, the first thing you need to do is section out your bang area to behind your ear. After you’ve done this, clip the rest of your hair out of the way. Then you will french braid your bang area and pin it back. Lastly, bring all of your hair to one side and braid it to the end and secure with an elastic band.
My Secret Tip: Spray the Bamboo Style Cleanse Extend Translucent Dry Shampoo throughout whole hair for added texture, and volume. By doing this, your braided style will not only hold better, but will be easy to make it look messier.
Straight hair with Volume is a great long-lasting every day style. I think most of us look better with a little (or a lot) of height at the crown. Volume at the crown helps give our face an oval shape, and hide any unwanted round/square shapes depending on your face structure.
To achieve this look, I would start with damp hair and apply some sort of volumizing foam at the root. After that, I would blowdry all the hair from the temple and up over-directed to the opposite side. That way I get the most volume possible. Once I’ve done that, I would add an anti-frizz serum from the mid-shaft down and continue on to flat ironing the hair.
Secret Tip: Taking your Spornette Little Wonder Brush, or any brush with flexible bristles fit to tease the hair: start by taking a 2x2in section at the top of your head and tease the base of your section. Next, section a half circle directly behind it, and combine the two. Tease the base of the combined two. Lie the hair down and gently comb the section down, smoothing it out. And there you have it, a way to dress up a straight style!
Subtle curls are the best for holiday parties. Super simple, yet looks very dressed up. You can wear them down, or they are great before you pull out any bobby pins for an up style. The movement they give to your hair makes up styles way easier, so you don’t have to worry about imperfections in your holiday party hair styles.
Secret Tip: To create a subtle look, leave a 1/2inch of your ends out of the curling iron. This will draw the eye to your curls, and will create the illusion that your hair is longer. And for the cherry on top, take a wide tooth comb and comb through the curls!
I’m obsessing over top knot braids!! It’s the perfect half up/half down hair style so you get the best of both worlds: trendy, but with the right outfit this can totally be a go-to for a night out and about!
Secret Tip: Instead of braiding the hair like a regular french braid, (passing the hair under each strand), pass the hair over instead for a dutch braid look! And, to make the braid look bigger, take the tip of your Spornette Little Wonder Brush and slip it through each whole of the braid and gently pull.
